At motiondelacruz, we charge for each service required to create your order. For audio-visual content, we charge based on a rate per second of service used to create a piece of content, plus any additional versions, add-on enhancements, and revisions.
For those with ongoing or larger-scale needs, our bulk-order pricing provides cost-saving advantages, kicking in after just 5 projects, of any service, or 150 seconds of content within a 30-day period.

For designs, we charge per design created based on the design type, purpose and art style required to create the content, plus any additional versions, add-on enhancements, and revisions. Versions in design are given a discount based on their similarity to the original or main design.
Add-ons
Add-ons empower you to supercharge your creative projects with valuable benefits like priority scheduling and enhanced asset cleanup, ensuring your work stands out. They're your secret weapon for achieving exceptional results and saving valuable time.
Each add-on is worth 25% of project value, that is the sum of a project’s service values, plus additional aspect ratios (sizes), in the case of Audio-Visual services. In the case of design services, service value is counted after similarity discount.

Travel Fee (for outside metro area)
A travel fee applies for services provided outside the metropolitan area to cover additional expenses.
Overtime
Add this add-on for four additional hours of coverage beyond eight hours. You can add it on twice for a maximum of up to eight additional hours, or a total of 16 hours.

Versions
Versions are secondary deliverables that are similar enough to the original content to not be considered a completely new deliverable, but different enough to not be the same deliverable. Versions include changes in aspect ratio (frame size), light changes in script, scene or image omissions, etc. Secondary deliverables that have at least half or more of their essential elements changed are considered new projects and will be charged as a new deliverable.
For our seconds based services, each version is worth 1/3rd or 33.33% the sum of all services. For our design services, versions receive a discount based on their similarity to the original content —unique, similar, copy—.
Revisions
Every project includes two rounds of revisions to get you to version three. Extra revisions are 10% the value of the video, compounding per round of revision.

2D Animation rate does not include estimates for key-visuals and/or storyboard. Key-visuals are required for all animations whether provided by client or created as part of our animation design service. We define them as a significant or primary image, element, or scene in a video or animation that plays a central role in conveying the core message, theme, or concept of the project. This could include main characters, pivotal scenes, logos, or any other visually dominant components that require particular attention to detail in the design and animation stages. These visuals set the tone for the design style, aesthetic, and overall impact of the video or animation.
3D animation rate does not include estimates for rendered elements, key-visuals and/or storyboard. Key-visuals and storyboards are estimated the same as 2D Animation Design. All rendered elements must be estimated individually per visual, using the 3D Design Element Calculator.
*** Projects orders are considered satisfied and complete upon reaching Needs Approval status, or Rough Cut 1 (RC1), regardless of subsequent revisions. The invoiced amount is determined by the value of the highest runtime created. Edits or revisions reducing a video project's runtime, after achieving the highest runtime, will not reduce the invoiced amount.
